Khadeejah رضي الله عنھا
The first of the Prophet’s wives was Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid AlQurashiyyah Al-Asadiyyah اJعنھ الله يJرض ,he married her before prophet hood while she was forty years old, the Prophet didn’t marry anyone else until after she had passed away, all of his children were from her except for Ibrahim. Khadeeja aided the Prophet when he received prophet hood and fought and defended him both emotionally and financially. Allah sent assalaam (greetings) to her by way of Jibreel and this was specific to her and not to any other woman other than her. Shepassed away three years before the Islamic migration.
Sawdah رضي الله عنھا
The Messenger of Allah married Sawdah bint Zam’a Al-Qurashiyya shortly after the death of Khadeejah, she is the one who gifted her nights to A’isha.
A’isha رضي الله عنھا
The Messenger of Allah then married A’isha As-Siddeeqah bint As-Siddeeq, the one who Allah freed of the slanders against her from above the seven heavens, the most beloved to the Prophet. A’isha was presented to the Prophet in a dream in a piece of silken cloth by an Angel who said this is your wife.
The Messenger of Allah married A’isha in the month of Shawwal when she was six years old and consummated the marriage when she was nine, during the first year of hijrah, she is the only virgin the Messenger of Allah married and the only woman who the Prophet received revelation whilst on her lap. She was the most beloved of the creation to the Messenger, her innocence was sent down from the heavens and the Ummah (Muslim nation) is in consensus that the one who slanders her is a disbeliever. She is the most knowledgeable woman, even the senior knowledgeable companions would seek her verdict in religious matters.
