Twenty days after the Prophet’s صلى الله عليه وسلم return from Al-Hudaybiyyah, he set out for Khaybar north of Al-Madinah, here they besieged the Jews for twenty days and fought fiercely until the Jews became certain of their own destruction and pleaded for peace. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم then allowed them to farm the land for payment of half its fruits and grain.
